The Philadelphia 76ers acquired forward Wilson Chandler in July in a trade with the Denver Nuggets. Unfortunately, Chandler has not been able to get any action on the court yet as he recovers from a lingering hamstring injury. Things are pointing in the right direction for Chandler, and it appears the Sixers could debut Chandler very soon.

Wilson Chandler is entering his 11th season. He was initially drafted by the New York Knicks and then traded to the Nuggets in the Carmelo Anthony trade. Chandler has averaged 13.5 points, 1.8 assists, and 5.4 rebounds a game over the course of his career.

The 31-year-old vet was stellar in his time with the Knicks and also enjoyed some solid years in Denver. The former first-round pick out of DePaul could offer Philadelphia some nice production off the bench once he comes back to action.

Wilson Chandler could very well be debuting in a Sixers jersey on Saturday night against a tough Detroit Pistons squad. The Sixers are going to need whatever it takes to string some wins together, as they are underwhelming with a 5-4 record on the season. Chandler could offer a veteran presence Philadelphia needs since it has such a young roster.
