Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons was excited to see the James Harden trade go through, as Harden was traded to the Brooklyn Nets in a grand four-team trade. According to Marc Spears of The Undefeated, Simmons' time with the Sixers is far from over as he has a lot of business to take care of.

Ben Simmons, now playing in his fourth season in Philadelphia, was the first pick in the 2016 NBA draft. From his time at LSU, the Sixers saw something special in Simmons: the ability to turn a struggling franchise around completely.

Along with Joel Embiid by his side, as well as fantastic role players, Simmons has done exactly that. Although the Sixers have not found much success in the playoffs the past three years, head coach Doc Rivers and the organization believe that the Aussie playmaker is the man for the job.

Simmons won the Rookie of the Year award for the 2017-2018 season, along with earning a spot on the All-Rookie 1st Team the same season and All-Defensive 1st Team in  2019-20. His potential to lead the Sixers this season has been called into question, as a knee injury has kept him from playing his best.

Simmons and Embiid, arguably one of the most dynamic combinations in the NBA right nowis  expected to lead the talented Sixers to the playoffs season after season. Whether they win a championship anytime soon depends on Simmons' ability to believe in his abilities, backed by Embiid and a great coaching staff.
