It appears that the Philadelphia 76ers might be looking for a new top executive in the next few days. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Bryan Colangelo is trying to convince the team that he didn't know about his wife's tweets.

This seems to confirm the conspiracy that it might have actually been his wife that was tweeting all these things, but even so, it seems like the Sixers are deciding if they want to keep him onboard.

Also according to Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe of ESPN, if it does turn out to be a family member doing it, that looks just as bad in the eyes of the Sixers, as if Colangelo himself was in charge of the page.

“Philadelphia ownership has shown little, if any, inclination to separate Colangelo's culpability in the matter should a family member or close associate be proven responsible for the postings.”

If it was Colangelo's wife saying those things about certain members of the Sixers team, she had to be getting her information from somewhere and that still puts Colangelo in the wrong.

According to The Ringer's report, the burner accounts were tweeting out things about a failed physical for Jahlil Okafor, something that wasn't public knowledge.

“Nobody wants him,” Enoughunkownsources posted in a pair of responses to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. “Last year he was traded and sent back because he didn’t pass physicals. He asked FO not to let the info out…Still the FO is not leaking the truth to save face, Okafor abusing that. If the truth came out Okafor would be the one looking bad.”
