Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons appears to be on the trading block. After a horrible postseason run, it looks like the Sixers are now inclined to parting ways with the All-Star point guard. As it turns out, however, Philly won't be sending Simmons to the Cavs in a deal centered around Kevin Love and Collin Sexton.

According to Jason Lloyd of The Athletic, an anonymous NBA executive believes that there is “no chance” the Sixers agree to trade Simmons to Cleveland in exchange for Love and Sexton. Simmons' current market value may be at an all-time low, but it looks like Philly still believes that they can get a better deal for the former Rookie of the Year winner.

It's actually still very much possible that the Sixers decide against trading Simmons away. There's no denying that his lackluster play was one of the primary reasons behind Philadelphia's short-lived postseason run, but at this point, it looks like the Sixers front office hasn't completely given up on The Process.

For their part, the Cavs have been rumored to be interested in revamping their roster in the summer. Kevin Love has been a perpetual trade candidate and right now, even Collin Sexton appears to be available. Cleveland might be looking to offload a couple of their biggest assets in the offseason which is why it isn't surprising that they're being linked to a guy like Ben Simmons. It's clear, however, that they'll need to give up much more than Kevin Love and Collin Sexton if they're serious in their pursuit for the Sixers point guard.
