Philadelphia 76ers point-forward Ben Simmons isn't getting away with this one.

The Sixers All-Star was called for a technical foul after throwing the ball back at Pascal Siakam at the end of the third quarter of their Game 3 showdown against the Toronto Raptors. Siakam shot the ball even with the period over, but Simmons doesn't want to see the ball go in and instead blocked it and tossed it backed to the Raptors forward.

Referee Scott Foster assessed Simmons with the technical foul for the incident, to the surprise of Ben and the Sixers fans.

Ben Simmons had some controversial moves during the game, including one on which he elbowed Kyle Lowry to the groin in the second quarter after they got tangled. The 22-year-old playmaker managed to escape with the cheap shot — which could have been assessed as a Flagrant 1 had the referees seen it.

Unfortunately for the Australian star, he wasn't able to get away with his petty act towards Pascal Siakam in the third quarter.

While a technical foul doesn't seem to be a big deal, Simmons and the Sixers will be cautious of it. A player is only allowed to have seven technical fouls in the postseason, with the seventh one coming with an automatic one-game suspension.
