Ben Simmons has not yet even played double-digit games in his NBA career, and he already has two triple-doubles to his name. Per ESPN's Jeff Goodman, the spectacular Philadelphia 76ers rookie recorded another one in his ninth game of the season against the Indiana Pacers, as he put up 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists to lead the Sixers to a 121-110 win, their fourth in a row.

Simmons racked up his first triple-double just four games into his career, as he had 21 points, 12 boards, and 10 assists against the Detroit Pistons. He also came very close to recording another one in his previous game against the Atlanta Hawks, falling just one assist short.

We're not even 10 games into the season and it looks as if Simmons has the Rookie of the Year trophy in the bag. He’s averaging 18.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists, which are ludicrous stats for anyone, much less a rookie.

Simmons also has as many triple-doubles this season as one of his top rivals for the award, Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, has double-digit scoring games through nine games, which is mind-boggling to think about.

But, perhaps more important than his terrific numbers, though, he’s helping lead his team to wins. The Sixers have now won four straight games as they currently find themselves above .500 at 5-4.
