Joel Embiid always makes his fans happy, whether it’s by his monster play on the court or by his nice gestures off of it. Last Monday, when the Philadelphia 76ers were in the Big Apple for a Christmas Day game against the New York Knicks, Embiid did both.

Embiid powered the Sixers to a 105-98 win over the Knicks, dropping 25 points on 8-for-17 shooting from the floor along with 16 rebounds, three assists, and three blocks. It was a tremendous all-around effort from the Cameroonian to help the Sixers end a five-game skid. He also gave his jersey to a lucky fan on his way to the dugout. The fan boldly asked Embiid for his game-worn uniform, and the Sixers big man didn’t even hesitate to give his threads to the man.

Joel Embiid, who is averaging 23.8 points and 11.1 rebounds per game this season, probably preferred to keep the uniform as a souvenir of his first NBA Christmas Day game, but must have figured a Sixers win was enough for him to remember the event.

After a two-day rest, Embiid and the 15-18 Sixers will face the Portland Trailblazers on the road on Friday.
