Jimmy Butler has a reputation for being tough on his teamates. He expects his teammates to play their very best at all times, much akin to Chris Paul. But Butler can also be a goofy, happy-go-lucky kinda guy.

After the Philadelphia 76ers routed the New York Knicks, 131-109, Butler decided to have some fun with his postgame press conference. Butler ended up asking teammate Landry Shamet some questions as if he was a journalist in the presser:

Butler said to Shemet:

“Don't worry Landry I gotchu. How do you feel about your career high man? You were making shots out there. You got me a couple assists late.”

Shamet then responded:

“You threw me one and I didn't shoot it.”

Butler then went back and forth with Shamet in a very humorous postgame interaction.

Shamet had a career-high 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field. Five Sixers players were in double digits on the evening, including Butler, Joel Embiid, JJ Redick, and Ben Simmons.

Since acquiring Butler, the Sixers are 11-6 and have been playing extremely well with him in the starting lineup. They've lost a bit defensively with Robert Covington going to the Minnesota Timberwolves, but Butler is still an upgrade overall.

The Butler acquisition added another playmaker within the Sixers' offense. He takes a load off the offensive duties of Ben Simmons and allows for Simmons to find Butler off the ball, something Jimmy Buckets sorely needed with his time in Minnesota.

For their next matchup, the Sixers play the Toronto Raptors at home.
