Jimmy Butler will enter free agency this summer, but that doesn't mean he won't return to the Philadelphia 76ers on a long-term deal next season. Butler and the Sixers throttled the Brooklyn Nets 122-100 at Wells Fargo Center to close out their first-round series on Tuesday night.

Wednesday, the 29-year-old shooting guard held his first-ever egg hunt outside of Philly's training complex for Sixers employees. Apple watches and TVs, among other expensive items, made this far from your typical boring competition.

Butler finished with arguably his best all-around performance in a Sixers uniform against the Nets. His nine points were well earned, and he balanced the box score with five rebounds and five assists. He played a factor more so on the defensive side, and helped the team stay in command throughout. They will now head to Toronto to face the Raptors in Round 2.

Butler posted 15.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.0 steals per game on 46.7 percent shooting from the field in those five postseason affairs. That includes his Game 4 where he was ejected for backing Joel Embiid, and threw a shove at Nets veteran Jared Dudley.

While Butler's future with the franchise remains up in the air, he certainly has given reason that it is going to keep him around beyond this season. It definitely looks like he wants to stay, as Philadelphia has treated him like gold since his arrival earlier in the year.

The question remains: Will Jimmy Butler be hosting the 2nd Annual Egg Hunt this time next season?

It sure looks promising from this angle.
