Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid could not hold back his tears after the Sixers lost at the buzzer against the Toronto Raptors.

Embiid had a double-double performance with 21 points and 11 rebounds in Game 7, but it was not enough to beat the Raptors who escaped with a 92-90 win to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Sixers were on the verge of forcing overtime, but Kawhi Leonard happened.

Leonard hit a buzzer-beating jumper in dramatic fashion. The ball bounced at least four times on the ring before it went in, sending the Raptors fans inside the Scotiabank Arena into a frenzy. Right after Leonard's game-winner went in, Embiid was seen breaking down into tears.

Raptors center Marc Gasol and power forward Serge Ibaka, including his countryman Pascal Siakam were seen comforting Embiid. However, their words were not enough. The Raptors, who got 41 points from Leonard, will go up against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals. Milwaukee, who had the best regular-season record in the league this year, advanced to the conference finals after eliminating the Boston Celtics in five games.
