Legend says that Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is a bad man. Well, he just proved that after the Sixers All-Star punished the Boston Celtics' Aron Baynes for even attempting to challenge his dunk.

Late in the second quarter during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at Wells Fargo Center, Embiid caught a nifty no-look pass from Ben Simmons in transition. He proceeded to barrel his way to a hapless Baynes for the and-1 poster.

Watch the clip below:

It was an emphatic play that showed off Embiid's rare skill for a seven-footer. His foot speed and explosiveness make him stand out among other NBA big men today. Baynes, although not really a top-tier center, is no pushover but Embiid bulldozed his way against the bruising Australian.

Embiid is on his way to becoming the NBA's best center and this playoff stint that has Philadelphia in the second round will only turn into valuable experience points.

The Sixers, however, lost the contest 101-98 in overtime. They now face a daunting 3-0 series deficit against the mentally-tough Celtics. For his part, Embiid finished the game with 22 points to lead Philadelphia. But it took a horrendous 10-of-26 shooting from the field to accomplish this one. He did dominate on the glass with 19 rebounds to his name.
