The Philadelphia 76ers' Joel Embiid is one of the more unique big men the NBA has seen, as we watched his game elevate this past NBA season.

Last season, Embiid averaged 27.5 points, 13.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists on 48% shooting. It's arguable that Embiid is well on his way to top-five status if he can stay healthy.

Joel Embiid is weird, too.

Embiid's antics have made him a personality that we can never discount for a memorable moment. From his trolls on social media to his off-kilter comments to the press, Embiid has shown he's a true one of a kind.

Embiid displayed the latter on Sunday for a post-practice media session. While answering questions, Embiid leaned over, refusing to engage properly to the press asking him questions. Why? No one will ever know.

While Embiid is still behaving questionably, he does have high hopes for the Sixers. The Sixers did enjoy a successful campaign last season — but didn't take the leap many thought they would. They ended their season in a non-memorable fashion, watching Kawhi Leonard use four bounces on the rim to send them home in the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

But Leonard is no longer a member of the East, so it has become a little more wide open. And Embiid is expecting his 76ers to parlay that into being the kings of the East. The win total he's looking for is 60.

“All I’m looking to do is have the best [team] defense in the league and have over 60 wins,” the Sixers franchise center said, reiterating his preseason target. “Whatever it takes [to get] the No. 1 seed — however many wins we need — we’ve got to make it happen.”

Embiid can behave in a childish manner, but what matters is his production on the court. When the former affects the latter, then it will be cause for concern. Until then, we will have to deal with his off-court antics.

Maybe he will make bending over in interviews a trend.
