Los Angeles Lakers rookie guard Lonzo Ball has played at every level of basketball and has been trained by several coaches before becoming a pro, but somehow his awkward-looking shooting form remains with him.

Let’s leave it to Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid to make fun of it.

Joel Embiid was warming up for a Wednesday night game against the Houston Rockets, which the Sixers lost at the buzzer, when he decided to imitate Ball’s jumpshot. It’s an antic that wouldn’t surprise folks who have followed the back-and-forth between Lonzo’s dad, LaVar Ball, and Embiid during the offseason. The rift even included Embiid dropping the F-word on Instagram that had him being fined by the league.

Lonzo Ball is just in his first year in the league and he’ll have plenty of time to develop a more effective jumper. So far, he is shooting just 34.8 percent from the field and 29.4 percent from the 3-point area.

Embiid and Ball are scheduled to meet on Nov. 15, and hopefully, they’ll be both available for that contest. Twitter is ready.
