Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is having a well-deserved vacation in the Bahamas, but this doesn't stop him from playing some hoops. He was recently spotted playing pick-up ball with some of the island locals.
As posted by Tim Cato of SB Nation, below is a clip of Embiid playing basketball in the Bahamas. The video was posted as an Instagram story by camillefishel:

Though the video doesn't reveal their faces, it's easy to spot who Embiid is. It would be interesting to see more of the clip. Is he taking the guys seriously? Or is he just out to get some cardio?
Here's another video of Embiid destroying an innocent opponent:

It's definitely a well-deserved vacation for Embiid who had a great season. In 63 games, he logged in 22.9 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.76 blocks per game.
Come the playoffs — the first in his career — he logged in 21.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.8 blocks in eight games.
After being eliminated in the second round, Embiid sounded determined in taking his game to its greatest level yet. As reported by Keith Pompey of Philly.com, the 24-year-old Cameroonian said that next year will be his MVP season:
“I feel like next year is definitely going to be a type of MVP season for me,” he said. “But it starts with my body. And the skills. I love being in the gym. I don’t feel like taking any time off. So we are going to see how the summer goes.”
