Sixers' center Joel Embiid has been knocked for a lot of things early in his career with the biggest being the ability to stay healthy. One thing he has never been knocked for has been having confidence either on or off the court, and that was on full display again on Thursday night.

The Philadelphia 76ers were taking on the Orlando Magic and Embiid got an offensive rebound and dribbled it back to the three-point line. He threw up the shot and before it was barely out of his hand he was already running back down the court, a move that Stephen Curry has made famous.

The shot drained and was one of many reasons the 76ers had no issue taking care of the Magic winning by a final score of 118-98. Embiid only played 20 minutes in the game putting up 17 points, nine rebounds, and three assists. That three-pointer was the only one he made in four attempts.

The win was a big one for the 76ers as they fight for playoff contention. The win moved them to 41-30 and kept them in 4th place in the Eastern Conference, but moved them up to only a game behind the Cleveland Cavaliers who sit in 3rd place.

They are only four games ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks who currently sit in the 8th and final playoff spot. Although there is really no concern of the 76ers missing out on the playoffs, there is a big difference between a 3rd or 4th seed and a 7th or 8th seed.
