Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is off to a bad start in the 2018-19 NBA season, to say the least.

During the pre-game warm-ups of their high-profile match with the Boston Celtics, the Sixers' big man got hit by a ball on the face. Embiid clearly wasn't looking at the ball when it was passed to him, resulting to this early season gem (via Bleacher Report).

Embiid is known for trolling his co-NBA players and trash talking, so this clip certainly wouldn't go unnoticed.

The Cameroonian's exploit in social media has been well documented. He often uses his highlights or clips of him dunking on opponents to talk thrash, just like what he did to Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook earlier this 2018.

He also famously made fun of Celtics center Aron Baynes after the Australian got dunked during Boston's Eastern Conference finals match-up with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

This time, it's Embiid who needs to prepare for a taste of his own medicine. He has it coming, after all.
