After missing the Philadelphia 76ers' last game due to an injury, All-Star center Joel Embiid returned to action tonight against the Atlanta Hawks and he immediately made his presence felt.

As of this writing, he has nine points, two rebounds, and three assists in 12 minutes. He also had a highlight play with running mate Ben Simmons.

Embiid was about to fumble the ball but somehow found a way to pass it to Simmons, who finished the play with a reverse layup.

The Sixers are in a tightly-contested ballgame against the Hawks, one of the most surprising teams in the league. They are tied at 57 with less than two minutes remaining in the first half. Both teams have a 2-0 win-loss record and after this game, one of them will remain at the top of the Eastern Conference standings.
