The Philadelphia 76ers almost saw their Game 3 hopes diminish with J.J. Redick's costly turnover that led to a Jaylen Brown fastbreak layup to give the Boston Celtics a two-point lead with 1.7 seconds left in the game.

However, veteran shooting guard Marco Belinelli had other plans as he sank a clutch fadeaway shot from the corner to tie the game and send it to overtime. The play comes after the Sixers' final timeout.

It was a frantic finish to the first four quarters of play in regulation. The Celtics have kept it within striking distance against the home team and even came close to sealing the game without needing an extra session.

Belinelli, a waiver pickup by the Sixers midseason, has plenty of postseason experience under his belt. He has a San Antonio Spurs pedigree which greatly boosts one's resume and he showed just that for the Sixers.

The Italian shooting guard finished regulation with 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists to go along with a couple of 3-pointers.

His effort turned to naught, however, as the Celtics pulled off an upset victory on the road over the Sixers in overtime, 101-98. The defeat became even more bitter for the Sixers after confetti was prematurely dropped from the rafters following Belinelli's game-tying shot.
