By the numbers, Sixers power forward Mike Scott isn't necessarily one of the game's best three-point shooters. But apparently, he's so good he can do it with his eyes closed.

Via the Philadelphia 76ers Twitter account:

Prior to Philadelphia's Tuesday night game against the Boston Celtics, Scott decided to prove he deserves his nickname of “The Threegional Manager.” He did so by draining two consecutive three-pointers without even opening his eyes.

Scott's nickname is one of the best in the NBA. It refers to the famous character of Michael Scott, the regional manager played by Steve Carrell on the popular show ‘The Office.'

Unfortunately, the 30-year-old power forward hasn't quite lived up to his moniker.

Over his seven-season career, he has averaged only 0.8 three-pointers on 2.1 attempts per game. He has made 35.6% of his three-point attempts, which is respectable, but as a career bench player, doesn't have the volume to earn his nickname.

On the season, Scott is averaging 4.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists. Scott was acquired from the Clippers last week as part of a blockbuster trade for Tobias Harris.

The Sixers, at 36-20, currently hold the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. They are six games back of the Milwaukee Bucks for the top spot.

According to ESPN's BPI Playoff Odds, the team has a greater than 99.9% chance of making the postseason, but only a 1.6% chance of winning the championship.

As of writing, the Sixers currently trail the fifth-seed Celtics late in the first quarter.

Scott has yet to find his way onto the floor.
