The Philadelphia 76ers enjoyed a comfy lead over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night, getting ahead early, as they honed into a struggling C.J. McCollum, who hit only one of his 14 field goal attempts for the game.

The game was a foregone conclusion in favor of the home team's fans, who chanted “We want Okafor” in hopes to see the now-ostracized center Jahlil Okafor play a few minutes down the stretch after he's played in only two games this season.

Okafor wouldn't enter the game, as head coach Brett Brown failed to appease Sixers fans with the big man still on the trade block. One would think putting the Duke standout in the game would satisfy both the paying fans and teams looking to acquire Jahlil Okafor in a potential trade, but Brown had other ideas, keeping him in the doghouse, as he's done through 15 of the first 17 games of the season.

The Sixers scored the game's first 16 points, as the Blazers missed their first 13 shots of the game, leading by 13 at halftime and pushing that lead to 16 again early in the third.

Joel Embiid led the way for the Sixers, putting up 28 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocks in 30 minutes, while his counterpart Jahlil Okafor watched from the sidelines despite the roar from the Philly faithful.
