Right after scoring on his former teammate, T.J. McConnell of the Philadelphia 76ers gave Dario Saric of the Minnesota Timberwolves a love tap. We can assume that the Sixers guard knew a thing or two about Saric's weaknesses and took advantage of it.

It was relatively easy for McConnell to get past Saric and rise for the jumper.

Like what the commentator said, the two were the best of friends back when they were teammates in Philly. In an old interview, Dario Saric shared what his relationship is like with TJ McConnell:

“We support each other even if somebody miss the shots,” Saric said, per NBCS Sports. “Like T.J., I always come and say, let's go T.J.! I think we've got some good relations, we can maybe fight during the game, but we forget that, and after that, we are like best friends on the court. That, for basketball and for team spirit and for team chemistry, it means a lot.”

Given their close friendship, we can assume that the trade which separated them definitely hurt. But that's the NBA business. Who knows, they might see each other down the line again as teammates.

In the end, it was the Sixers who got the win, 149-107. TJ McConnell himself had eight points and eight rebounds in 21 minutes. Saric 11 points and five rebounds. The two teams will meet again on March 30.
