According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, there’s a sizable amount of players who want to finish the 2019-20 season despite the Jacob Blake situation hovering over them.

Many players believe they have already made huge sacrifices to enter the bubble and might as well finish what they started while continuing to use the large NBA platform as a useful resource in this social climate.

Three NBA games were postponed on Wednesday after the Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics talked about the possibility of this happening a day before. NBA players have clearly had enough of police brutality and racism after Blake was shot seven times in the back despite being unarmed and trying to stop a fight.

The Black Lives Matter shirts and kneeling during the national anthem were thoughtful. However, boycotting games is sending a much bigger message and it appears players are starting to realize that.

With that said, if the majority of the players at Walt Disney World want to continue the season, then that is their choice. At the end of the day, this is their job and how they provide for their families.

The meeting taking place on Wednesday will likely decide the future of the 2019-20 season. This campaign has already been one for the history books and it appears there are going to be even more plot twists.
