Manny Pacquiao just made his name one of the hottest in the sports world after a big win over Keith Thurman on Saturday night. After that win, there have been rumblings that Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather could end up having a rematch. Many will remember that Mayweather defeated Pacquiao in their last matchup.
With all of the rumblings going around, Skip Bayless decided to weigh in on a potential rematch. He has a strong statement and boldly claimed that Mayweather would “get hurt” if he fought Pacquiao this time around.

There is no denying that Pacquiao looked great in the ring against a young star in Thurman. He was quick, strong, and very much in shape. Many fans would love to see a rematch between two of the best boxers in the history of the sport.
Following the big win, Manny Pacquiao moved to a career record of 62-7-2 with 39 wins by knockout. The last time he fought Mayweather, he was dealing with some injury issues. Fans want to see a matchup with both fighters in peak shape, which Pacquiao is definitely in right now.
Mayweather has been enjoying retirement, but has not been able to turn down big money fights in the past. This matchup would bring in a lot of money and would be very difficult for “Money Mayweather” to pass up.
All of that being said, this is something to keep an eye on. Rumblings are all that has happened so far, but it would not be surprising to see the two sides discuss a potential rematch. Hopefully, this ends happening at some point in the near future.
