Sony's State of Play returns to deliver exciting news for all loyal players. The scheduled presentation will stream live on February 25, 2021. Sony promises to give players updates for up to 10 incoming games set to release for the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5 throughout 2021. We're still very much early into the year but between Nintendo and Sony, there's no shortage of exciting video game news.

STATE OF THE PLAY ADDRESS

Fans expect the presentation to be in the area of 30 minutes but they still hold out hope for their favorite titles. Several responses to the initial announcement on Twitter hope for the addition of a multiplayer mode for The Last of Us Part 2. Sony knows how to handle pre-release hype at this point but we can all hope for a few surprises.

State of Play audience members expect to get more updates for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Horizon Forbidden West. Additionally, the upcoming Ratchet & Clank title has been granted a June 11th release date. Sony remained secretive about any updates for the God of War sequel. Hopefully, the upcoming State of Play sheds more light on the highly anticipated title.
