Everyone remembers the classic Michael Jordan movie Space Jam, right? Well, the highly anticipated sequel featuring LeBron James is finally set to release on July 16thSpace Jam 2 will have all of your favorite Looney Tune characters returning to play a game of basketball with LeBron James.

The film has been rather silent about development, however, we finally have a trailer that gives us a first glimpse into what we can expect James's version will be like, per Bleacher Report. Take a quick peek at the trailer:

Not only is everyone's favorite cartoon characters back, but Space Jam 2 is featured with a star-studded cast. Popular actor, Don Cheadle plays a character named Al-G Rythm and appears to be the main villain in the teaser.

Similar to the first Space Jam film, the movie also has some of the top talents in basketball as well. The movie has prominent names like Damian Lillard, Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Chris Paul, Draymond Green, and Kyle Kuzma. Additionally, Space Jam 2 will also feature top players from the WNBA as well, with Diana Taurasi, Nneka Ogwumike, and Chiney Ogwumike all making appearances.

The trailer already shows some key differences in comparison to the first movie, as we see a cartoon version of LeBron James in Looney Tune land. Additionally, LeBron James's son Don James, played by Cedric Joe, seems to have a prominent role in the storyline as well.

The movie likely won't win any awards, but it should be a hit in the box office. The film is tailored to multiple different generations, as kids who watched the original Space Jam are adults now. July 16th can't get here soon enough.
