It was something that got plenty of buzz on social media, many of which blame commissioner Rob Manfred as the primary reason why Rosenthal <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/mlb-news-ken-rosenthal-responds-to-shocking-release-from-mlb-network-after-rob-manfred-comments/">got the boot</a> from the league’s official media outlet. Among those who voiced their strong feelings towards Manfred is Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Tyler Matzek.</p><p>Here’s what Matzek had to say about the Ken Rosenthal situation, via his <a href="https://twitter.com/TylerMatzek/status/1478201361946664964">official Twitter account</a>.</p><blockquote>@Ken_Rosenthal stands at 5’4 1/2” but still towers over Rob Manfred. Like many others, Matzek believes that Manfred caused Rosenthal’s firing from the MLB Network, mainly due to the reporter’s critical The Athletic piece of the commissioner’s handling of the league during the pandemic.</p><p>It’s also worth noting that while Rosenthal is no longer an employee of the MLB Network, he continues to be part of The Athletic and FOX Sports, so he should remain very visible for baseball fans, especially once the league ends the lockout — whenever that might be.</p><figure class="op-tracker"></figure></article>    </body></html>

Police in the area, however, failed to recognize Matzek as one of the player’s on the team and attempted to detain him as he celebrated.</p><p>Running in front of the bus with a fedora, baseball jersey, and jeans on, Matzek sticks out like a sore thumb and the poor cops are just trying to do their job. Matzek takes off in a fashion in which he is looking like he’s trying to get away from people, so he definitely seems like a crazed fan when you first glance at him charging in front of the humongous bus. Although he was one of the more important pieces for the Braves’ improbable postseason run to winning the championship, Matzek unfortunately still isn’t recognized in the city in which he plays.</p><p>This had a fortunate end for all parties involved, as Matzek was quickly identified and allowed to continue on with his merry ways, but the hilarious footage of the cops who attempted to detain one of the people they were there to protect will live on forever.
