Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is currently inactive. 

He was born on April 16, 1947. He is listed at 7-foot-2 and weighs 225 lbs. 

Abdul-Jabbar went to high school at Power Memorial in Manhattan (NY) and then went on to attend UCLA in college. At UCLA, Abdul-Jabbar was a three-time National Champion and was a three-time National College Player of the Year award winner.

During his NBA career he played 6 seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks and 14 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Abdul-Jabbar has his No. 33 retired by both the Bucks and the Lakers which are the only two teams he played for during his incredible career.

In his NBA career, he was a six-time NBA Champion, a six-time Most Valuable Player, he made 19 NBA All-Star teams and was a two-time NBA Finals MVP. Abdul-Jabbar was a two-time scoring champion, led the league in rebounding one year as well and four times led the league in blocks in a season.

He is widely regarded as one of the best players in NBA history and was named to the NBA 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. 

His 38,387 all-time points are still first in league history. His 17,440 rebounds rank third all time.
