San Antonio Spurs shooting guard DeMar DeRozan has cleared his Instagram.

The last time this happened, DeRozan was traded from the Toronto Raptors to the Spurs in the Kawhi Leonard blockbuster trade.

DeRozan is making $27.7 million this season. He has a player option worth the same amount for the 2020-21 season.

In his first season with the Spurs, DeRozan averaged 21.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game. The 30-year-old California native shot 48.1 percent from the field and 83.0 percent from the free-throw line.

The Spurs lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the 2019 playoffs in seven games. DeRozan put up 22.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game in the series.

San Antonio is just 6-11 on the season entering Monday. DeRozan is putting up 22.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game on the season. He's shooting 53.0 percent from the floor and 82.4 percent from the free-throw line. The Spurs guard has yet to hit a 3-pointer.

DeRozan has been linked to the Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons in the past. It will be very interesting to see if the Spurs do in fact trade DeMar and/or LaMarcus Aldridge and embark on a rebuild. In a rugged Western Conference, it appears San Antonio is going to have a tough time making the playoffs — even if they have one of the best coaches in NBA history in Gregg Popovich.
