San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Demar DeRozan has the utmost confidence in his team. In fact, following Sunday's 121-114 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, the former 9th overall pick noted that the Spurs can “beat anybody in the league.”

DeRozan logged 36 minutes in Sunday's win, scoring 28 points on 10-of-20 shooting from the field (8-of-9 from the free-throw line), six assists, four rebounds, two steals, and one block. For the Spurs, it marked their fifth straight victory.

“It was a great test for us. We started off kind of rough, but we kept at it,” DeRozan said during Sunday's post-game media availability. “To pull out this win was big.”

To DeRozan's credit, the Spurs have indeed beaten some of the best teams in the NBA this season, including the Bucks, Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder. Without a doubt, they're looking for that trend to continue.

“We can beat anybody in this league,” DeRozan said. “We always show up for the big tests. We just gotta be consistent with that. Understanding that when we go on the road, let's continue to do the same thing and be consistent about it. We've gotta treat everybody we play like they're a No. 1 or No. 2 seed.”

With Sunday's loss to San Antonio, Milwaukee now holds just a two-game lead over the Toronto Raptors for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference standings.

“It certainly doesn't help, but all the credit goes to them,” Milwaukee coach Mike Budenholzer told ESPN. “They deserved to win, they played better than us. We just weren't good enough tonight.”

DeRozan and the Spurs will be back in action on Tuesday night when they'll travel to Dallas for a matchup against the Mavericks.
