San Antonio Spurs shooting guard DeMar DeRozan will face off against his former team, the Toronto Raptors, for the first time on Jan. 3, and the four-time All-Star has big plans for that night.

In a recent video shot with former teammate Serge Ibaka, DeRozan said he'll score 50 points on the Raptors, and even made a friendly bet with Ibaka.

DeRozan, of course, was traded to the Spurs this summer in the blockbuster Kawhi Leonard deal. Raptors president Masai Ujiri reportedly told DeRozan in Las Vegas during Summer League play that he wasn’t going to trade him. Ujiri said the Raptors were fourth in line to land Leonard and that nothing was imminent. That's one of the main reasons why DeRozan was devastated by the trade, because he genuinely believed Ujiri and was preparing to come back to Toronto.

DeRozan had always shown loyalty to the Raptors. When DeRozan was an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2016, the swingman didn’t even take a meeting with another team and stated he wanted to remain with the Raptors and build a legacy in Toronto.

Months have passed since the trade, and it appears DeRozan has finally moved on … though he seemingly does still have revenge on his mind.

DeRozan did finally admit at Team USA training camp that it's a special feeling to be on the Spurs.

In 675 games with Toronto, DeRozan averaged 19.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. He shot 44.8 percent from the floor, 28.8 percent from 3, and 82.7 percent from the free-throw line.
