With the suspension of the NBA season, players and fans alike are at a loss when it comes to what they should do. San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich offers advice to fans who don't know what do as the league is entering a very uncertain time in its history.

The Spurs head coach made an appearance during a Wish for Our Heroes fundraiser. The organization he's helping is focused on aiding veterans. But he took the time to address the virus and what everyone should do in the time of quarantines and banning of mass gatherings.

ā€œJust watch theā€¦ who was the team we beat last night?ā€ Popovich asked with a grin, per Tom Petrini of KENS5. ā€œIt's been such a rarity I forget the wins. Just watch the Dallas game over and over if there's a hiatus, don't watch those other games.ā€

It's a cheeky jab at their neighbors, but the beloved head coach actually gave fans sound advice. The last thing they want to do is put the entire world at risk and not take precautions. So it's a good thing that they're taking steps to prevent that. If fans are having an NBA itch, watching old games should more than do the trick.

Moreover, the Dallas game is a pick-me-up for Spurs fans who haven't had the best season so far. The Spurs managed to pull off a fourth-quarter comeback to stomp the neighboring Mavs, 119-109. LaMarcus Aldridge led the way with his 24 points, while Trey Lyles' 14 points and 11 rebounds were also integral to get the win.

No one knows how long the hiatus will take, but it is more important to keep everyone safe and healthy. Once the danger has passed, fans can expect their Spurs to come back roaring.
