It seems that NBA reporters never learn their lesson when it comes to interviewing San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich. The legendary tactician, who's notorious for giving reporters blunt and curt answers, added another hilarious entry to his montage of classic Pop-responses.

Shortly after the Spurs' 119-109 win over the Dallas Mavericks at the At&T Center on Tuesday, Pop was asked about Mavs center Kristaps Porzingis' terrific defense over the last few games.

“I haven’t taken a lot of time to individually evaluate Porzingis’ defense, so it would be difficult to answer that question. Geez Louise. Do you see our record? Do you think I’m watching Porzingis film?” Popovich responded, per Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News.

To be fair, Popovich does have a lot on his plate at the moment. The Spurs (27-36) are currently 12th in the Western Conference and are in danger of missing the postseason. Pop certainly does not have the time to mind other players' individual accomplishments.

Porizingis has indeed been outstanding on the defensive side of the ball in Dallas' last couple of games.  The 7-foot-3 Latvian has been rejecting every shot on sight in the last few games, and is averaging 2.1 blocks (5th in the league) per game.

KP, however, had an off night on offense against the Spurs on Tuesday and only produced nine markers on 4-of-15 shooting. He did collect 12 boards, three assists, and two blocks.

Popovich, meanwhile, is still one of the nicest coaches in the league today. His sarcastic tone during interviews is usually just for the fun of it, but reporters should know very well at this point not to ask silly questions.

Never change, Pop. Never change.
