Truth be told, San Antonio fans have been upset and frustrated with this situation ever since a report of a disagreement with the organization went viral.
Flames were fanned when Leonard's desire to be traded were leaked, further proving that the marriage between The Klaw and the Spurs was in peril.
Leonard did bring an NBA championship to the city back in 2014, taking Finals MVP honors — but nothing hurts fans more than what just took place now, and it may take a long time until the city comes to term with the despair of losing one of the best talents in the league.
