The San Antonio Spurs will have their All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge back tonight against the struggling Memphis Grizzlies, according to ESPN's Michael C. Wright.

Aldridge missed Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers after exiting Wednesday's 121-116 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans with an ankle injury.

The Spurs have lost two in a row, and that has been costly, as they have gone from third place in the Western Conference race to sixth, overtaken by the Portland Trail Blazers, who have been on a roll as of late, winners of six straight.

San Antonio is still waiting for their star, Kawhi Leonard, and his impending return sometime in March, but for now they'll need Aldridge as their anchor, as he has been for most of the season.

The 6-foot-11 big man is putting up 22.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game — his highest totals in a Spurs uniform since joining the team during the 2015-16 season.

The Grizzlies have struggled throughout the entire season, and it's not bound to get any better with bodies rolling into the infirmary.

Starter Mario Chalmers (hamstring), Andrew Harrison (wrist), Tyreke Evans (ribcage), and Mike Conley Jr. (heel surgery) have left rookie Kobi Simmons as the lone option at the point guard position after losing 13 straight games and holding the worst record in the league.

The Spurs would be wise to put this one away early, as the race between spots three and eight in the West is only separated by two games.
