At the age of 41, whispers about Manu Ginobili's looming retirement continue to get louder. The four-time NBA champion is surely aware of this, and so is his family.

As it turns out, Ginobili's brother, Sepo, appears to have some insider knowledge on Manu's plans for the immediate future. Sepo recently hinted that his younger brother may be making a decision on the direction of his career within the next few days. This via Tom Osborne of the San Antonio Express-News.

“The 20th hasn’t even reported if he’s still playing. I imagine there will be news next week,” Sepo Ginobili said at a basketball clinic, per a tweet from Spanish-language broadcaster Carlos Altamirano.

With Tony Parker recently heading to the Charlotte Hornets, Ginobili is the only remaining member of the Spurs' original big three. Along with the great Tim Duncan, this trio won four NBA titles together between 1998 and 2014. For his part, Duncan called it a career after the 2015-16 season.

The Spurs are entering a new era right now with newcomer DeMar DeRozan leading the way. At the moment, there is no telling if Manu Ginobili intends to be part of the transition.

Ginobili's current deal with the Spurs does not expire until the end of the 2018-19 season. Nevertheless, there are still some who believe that we have already seen the last of the two-time All-Star in the NBA.

Regardless of Ginobili's decision, he will still be considered as one of the greatest to ever dawn a Spurs uniform.
