San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay’s basketball game may be a bit rusty as he continues to recover from a major injury, but as a social media troll recently found out, Gay's Twitter game is as sharp as ever.

The aforementioned fan wondered who was more washed up, Gay or Rajon Rondo. Gay replied with his answer, but it was neither of the two options.

Rudy Gay has been a fairly productive player throughout his career. He averaged a solid 18.7 points and 6.3 rebounds for the Sacramento Kings last season. However, he was limited to just 30 games as he suffered a season-ending Achilles injury midway through the year.

That type of injury is generally regarded as one of the most difficult for NBA players to recover from, especially for those in their 30s. Rudy just turned 31 last August.

But after signing a two-year deal this offseason with the Spurs, Gay is on a mission to have “the best comeback ever” from his injury. He will also be looking to prove doubters, like the Twitter troll he just savaged, wrong and show that despite his serious injury, he is not “washed up” just yet.
