With San Antonio Spurs dealing with injuries to two of their key players in Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker, much of the focus has shifted to the play of veteran forward LaMarcus Aldridge.

There has been much talk that his best days may be past him after he experienced a noticeable drop in his performance last season that came to a head in the playoffs. However, Aldridge has voiced confidence that he can bounce back in his third campaign with the Spurs.

This is something that has also been echoed by offseason addition Rudy Gay, who told Tom Osborn of the San Antonio-Express News that he believes Aldridge that return to All-Star form.

Aldridge has received nothing but support from his teammates throughout the entire offseason that he can bounce back in a major way this upcoming year. He has proven in the past that he can be a major offensive contributor that can handle the primary scoring responsibilities.

The 32-year-old will have an opportunity to do just that to start the season with an increased reliance upon him to lead the team offensively that could allow him to show he is still one of the best big men in the league.

Ultimately, it will fall on Aldridge's shoulders to prove that he can perform at an All-Star level once again.
