Though the 2019-20 season is approaching fast, several teams around the NBA landscape are still finalizing their respective rosters. One such team is the San Antonio Spurs, who have reportedly picked up their options for Derrick White and Lonnie Walker IV.

Jabari Young of The Athletic shared this news on Tuesday morning:

White, now 25 years of age, is entering his third year of service with the Spurs. The former 29th overall pick made 67 appearances with the team last regular season (55 starts), racking up averages of 9.9 points on 47.9 percent shooting from the field (33.8 percent from beyond the arc), 3.9 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 steal in 25.8 minutes per outing.

The Spurs selected Walker with the 18th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. The former Miami Hurricanes standout played in 17 games with San Antonio last season, averaging 2.6 points on 34.8 percent shooting (38.5 percent from downtown) and 1.0 rebound in 6.9 minutes per contest. San Antonio has assigned Walker to their G League team in the past (Austin Spurs), but it's not clear if he'll be given a similar role this season.

San Antonio is a team that will be looking for improvement. They finished the 2018-19 regular season campaign with a 48-34 overall record, which earned the team a No. 7 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. Unfortunately, though, the Spurs were defeated by the Denver Nuggets in the opening round, 4-3.
