Kawhi Leonard's future with the San Antonio Spurs now appears in jeopardy since his relationship with the franchise took a hit this season while he battled injuries, missing almost the entire year.

But the Spurs aren't looking to aggressively entertain trades from teams around the league just yet.

Via Bleacher Report:

Nonetheless, another Western Conference executive said teams are “lining up to try to do something” in the event the Spurs decide to trade Leonard this summer. Through back channels, those teams have gotten the brush-off from the Spurs.

“The Spurs want to try to make things work right now and aren't interested,” the exec said.

Leonard will of course draw the interest of almost every team around the NBA. There are teams with cap space like the Los Angeles Lakers who may try and make a move and then there are teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers who may try and make a trade to acquire Leonard.

But with the playoffs still going on and the NBA Draft still a ways out, there hasn't been much talk late of some tangible moves that could actually be made. For the time being, it remains an investigation on Leonard's relationship with the Spurs and the mindset of the franchise regarding his future.

However it goes down, it will certainly be interesting and have a drastic effect on the league.
