The San Antonio Spurs have fallen into a mid-tier team after being perennial playoff contenders under head coach Gregg Popovich. Now, it seems they are more than ready to make a big change if it means ushering a new winning era in San Antonio.

According to a report from Zach Harper of The Athletic, rising star point guard Dejounte Murray and impact playmaker Derrick White are both “gettable” at the right price or deal. While it is important to note that this doesn't mean they are on the trading block, it just shows the Spurs are keeping their options open in a bid to return to relevance and championship contention.

“The Spurs have to figure out where they want to be as a franchise and what their plan is moving forward. They’re kind of stuck in the middle right now. Murray and Derrick White could both be gettable, according to league sources.”

Now this is certainly an intriguing prospect for the Spurs. After all, Dejounte Murray is critical part of their rotation. He has increased his production in each of his first four seasons in the NBA, and he's coming off a season when he put up 15.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists.

Murray looked like he has fully already recovered from his torn ACL in 201-19, and with the way he's trending, he could be due for a breakout season any time soon.

As for Derrick White, he is a serviceable guard who put up 15.4 points and3.5 assists for the Spurs in 20120-21, but his recent injury history that cost him a huge chunk of the campaign is undoubtedly a cause for concern for some teams.

Then again, since they are only “gettable,” it is more than likely that San Antonio will have a significant asking price for each player. A lot of teams like the New York Knicks are looking for playmakers, though, so there will surely be suitors.
