The NBA is missing out on a big opportunity if they don't schedule the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors on Christmas Day. But according to Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News, the Spurs will not be playing on Dec. 25. Young adds that the Spurs are giving the league their input on the decision, but it doesn't look likely.

The official Christmas Schedule (along with the first week's matchups and MLK Day games) is set to release tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. The first four Christmas Day matchups have already been leaked, but the fifth and final game is still unknown.

The NBA is missing out on a tremendous opportunity. Kawhi Leonard's return to San Antonio and DeMar DeRozan's first matchup against his former team would be must-see television.

There's no clear reason why the NBA wouldn't want this game. This could be the most intriguing matchup of the day due to the bad blood on both sides of the court.

The only game that may be more compelling is the matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the new-look Los Angeles Lakers with LeBron James leading the way.

For now, fans will have to wait until tomorrow to find out what the fifth game will be. NBA fans all over are hoping that this report turns out to be false. Christmas Day is one of the biggest days in the regular season and fans want to see marquee matchups, superstars clashing, and grudge matches with bad blood.

A Spurs-Raptors game would have everything any fan could possibly want.
