It is safe to say that San Antonio Spurs shooting guard DeMar DeRozan got the better of Los Angeles Lakers big man Montrezl Harrell on Wednesday evening.

Despite shooting guards rarely finding themselves on the right side of a poster, DeRozan simply could not be denied by Harrell, who at least attempted to contest the emphatic slam.

Making matters worse for Harrell on this sequence, the Lakers newcomer was initially blocked at the rim by Spurs center Jakob Poeltl, which ultimately led to the slam by DeRozan.

DeMar DeRozan is currently in the midst of his third season as a member of the Spurs after previously spending the first nine years of his NBA playing career with the Toronto Raptors.

DeRozan was infamously acquired by the Spurs in the same trade that saw superstar swingman Kawhi Leonard make his way from San Antonio to Toronto, where he promptly led the franchise to its first-ever NBA title.

On the other hand, Montrezl Harrell came over to the Lakers from the cross-town rival Los Angeles Clippers this past offseason. However, it is obvious that being posterized by DeRozan was not the start that Harrell had in mind for his Purple and Gold tenure.
