Some people call it a revenge game, but when a player faces their former team, crazy things tend to happen. San Antonio Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan took all his frustrations out on the rim against the Toronto Raptors, the team he spent nine seasons with.

With the third quarter coming to a close, Spurs point guard Derrick White grabbed the rebound off a missed shot. Driving to the rim, White found a trailing DeRozan who rose up for a strong two-handed slam over the Raptors.

DeMar DeRozan finished the game with 25 points, eight rebounds and four assists, leading the Spurs to a 105-104 victory over the Raptors. Entering Sunday's game, the 30-year-old swingman was averaging 22.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists.

Four other San Antonio players scored in double figures to propel the team to victory.

The Raptors had Pascal Siakam returning to the lineup, but his 15-5-4 outing was not enough to propel the defending champions to victory. Kyle Lowry had a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds, though to no avail.

The Spurs have struggled early in the season, but they seem to be on the rise. In their last four games, they have beaten the likes of the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics and Raptors. They improve to 17-21 after their victory over Toronto.
