San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich and Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard shared a nice embrace after Thursday night's game between the two teams at AT&T Center.

Much was made of Leonard's return trip to San Antonio, and it was the Spurs that ran away with a convincing 125-107 victory to move to 22-17 on the season.

It marked the third straight win for Popovich's team, but naturally, there was plenty of attention surrounding what the atmosphere would be like between Leonard and his former coaches and teammates.

So, this postgame interaction between the former Spurs star and the current Spurs coach had to produce smiles from some of the people in the arena.

Leonard finished with 21 points and five assists in the losing effort while going 8 of 13 from the floor.

San Antonio clearly understood all the hype surrounding the game, as it jumped out to a 38-19 lead after the first quarter and didn't look back from there in earning the big victory.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the way with 23 points, but it was a balanced scoring effort for the Spurs as DeMar DeRozan had 21, Bryn Forbes added 20, and Derrick White posted 19 on the night.

The Spurs will now look to keep their momentum going on Saturday in a matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies, which probably won't garner the amount of national attention that this one did.

After that, San Antonio will hit the road for back-to-back road games, with a showdown with the Detroit Pistons before heading into a rematch with the Grizzlies.
