The San Antonio Spurs came up short against the Indiana Pacers. Fortunately, shooting guard Lonnie Walker was able to show some promise down the stretch.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Walker corralled the rebound on one end before gaining a full head of steam and throwing down a monster fast break dunk during the fourth quarter.

Although Walker has struggled to fit the billing of a former first-round pick, he has still managed to show off some impressive feats of athleticism with the Spurs. He made headlines last week for his thunderous rejection on Dallas Mavericks guard Tim Hardaway Jr.'s layup attempt.

Despite his struggles, Lonnie Walker has managed to kick his play up a notch as of late. Against the Pacers, he scored 10 points on 4-of-4 shooting that included two three-pointers. He also recorded four rebounds and three assists in just 20 minutes of play for the San Antonio.

Now, the Spurs are hoping that his improvement is a sign of positive things to come for the team.
