The best-selling Star Wars: Battlefront II game by EA Games will be Epic Games Store's free game next week. It will be yours to keep if you're able to grab it within a limited period of time.

Lead the Inferno Squad in Star Wars: Battlefront II

Star Wars: Battlefront II follows the story of Iden Versio, the commander of the Inferno Squad, an elite group of soldiers of the Empire. The story takes place between Episode VI and Episode VII of the films, with DLCs covering early parts of Episode VII as well. The game allows fans to play as various heroes and villains in the Star Wars universe, spanning all nine episodes from the prequel series to the sequel series.

Battlefront II is the sequel to the 2015 reboot of the series. It is the fourth game in the entire Battlefront franchise. Critics originally gave the game low reviews because of its predatory microtransactions. However, critics still praised the game's fun gameplay loop, while also criticizing the game's hollow story. Regardless of these, Star Wars: Battlefront II still received multiple nominations in game awards races, including Best Online Multiplayer in the Game Critics Awards 2017.
