Following the recent news that Sony will be planning to port existing Playstation titles for the Playstation PC brand, a new leak of information has been discovered recently in regards to Playstation 5's exclusive AAA roguelike shooter, Returnal. It seems that this title could be making its way to the PC very soon, as a new entry within the Steam database has been spotted.

As spotted by Twitter user Nibel, there is a list of details in the database that suggest that this Steam entry is Returnal, such as the mention of Atropos, the alien planet where Returnal is set, the Tower of Sisyphus, Returnal's endless mode, and Helios, the ship from which Returnal's protagonist arrives in and respawns from on each new run.

Also mentioned in the database entry is the inclusion of single-player, online co-op, sci-fi, female protagonist, and other details that line up with Returnal being released on Steam.

There is currently no official word from Sony regarding an announcement of Returnal being released, but the details more or less confirm this. These leaks certainly would fall in line with Sony's plans to increase their focus on releasing Playstation 4 and 5 titles onto the PC in order to strengthen their Playstation PC brand.

The overall public response to this leak of information has been generally positive. While some Playstation 5 users have expressed disapproval over fewer exclusives for the platform, others have been generally surprised that they will be able to play this game for the first time. Returnal has gained tons of praise and positive reviews for being one of the first AAA third-person shooters to feature roguelike elements, along with unique storytelling elements.
