Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was not present for the team’s Monday meetings, Ed Bouchette and Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report.

It remains to be seen if Brown’s absence was excused by Steelers coach Mike Tomlin. Although, several sources told Bouchette and Dulac that they didn't know why Brown wasn't with the rest of his Steelers teammates for meetings and film review.

Brown’s no-show comes on the heels of him responding on Twitter to a former Steelers employee claiming Brown’s success was because of Ben Roethlisberger by saying, “Trade me let’s find out.”

Brown was also seen getting into a heated exchange in the sidelines with Steelers offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner during their 42-37 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Brown left the locker room before addressing the media.

Brown had nine catches on 17 catches for 67 yards against the Chiefs. Although, he was reportedly dealing with a calf injury. Over his first two games, Brown has recorded 18 catches for 160 yards and one touchdown, which is somewhat down from his usual production.

Apart from his sideline eruption and tweet about being traded, Brown has also made threats and accusations against reporters in recent weeks, which isn't a particularly promising list of events that a superstar of his caliber to be involving himself with.

It remains to be seen what reason Brown had for missing work and whether he chose to disclose his absence to Tomlin. If he didn't, it would be just another incident that will concern Steelers fans about their star wide receiver's current condition.
