After a lot of speculation and uncertainty, superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown has officially asked the Pittsburgh Steelers to trade him, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Ever since Brown was surprisingly held out of a must-win game for the Steelers to finish the 2018 regular season, the speculation has run rampant about the future of arguably the NFL's best wide receiver. The perennial Pro Bowler continues to be as productive as ever on the football field, but his attitude and relationship with teammates and coaches seem to have hit a boiling point.

The real question now is where Brown might land and whether it will be a smooth process. The San Francisco 49ers have been rumored to be a potential destination for the superstar and could be an ideal fit. Brown and Jimmy Garoppolo would be a formidable duo and possibly what the 49ers need to take them to the next level.

Other potential destinations may include the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, and Oakland Raiders. These are only a few teams in the league that has been mentioned as possible landing spots for Brown, but more will almost certainly emerge with the star wideout officially letting it be known he wants out of Pittsburgh.

Along with Brown wanting out, star running back Le'Veon Bell is also more than likely leaving Pittsburgh during the NFL offseason. Losing these two offensive stars is a major blow for the Steelers, but they do have some rising stars that might be able to fill the void in JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Conner.
