The Pittsburgh Steelers might be facing the end of an era fairly soon. With star running back Le’Veon Bell likely to leave next offseason after failing to secure a long-term deal, this year could be the last season of having the Three B’s — Bell, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wide receiver Antonio Brown — together.

Brown himself admits that their championship window is about to close, so they should make the most out of what could very well be their last chance this year.

“Super Bowl, that’s it,” Brown said, when asked what would constitute a successful season, per Martin Rodgers of USA Today. “And I feel like that window of opportunity is getting smaller and smaller. Every year we get close, right there, not quite getting over the hump. Now is the time. Absolutely, this moment has to be the moment. In regards to the situation we are in with the team and the organization this time will have to be the time.”

It would certainly go down as a major disappointment if this Steelers core doesn’t end up winning a championship or even make a Super Bowl during their time together.

With both Brown and Bell arguably the best in their respective positions over the last couple of years and Big Ben still playing at a high level, they've obviously had enough talent to accomplish great things, and they had their chances. Unfortunately, they haven’t been able to capitalize.

However, Brown, Bell, and Big Ben still have at least one more shot to make good on their potential this season before their window closes shut. Hopefully, they can all stay healthy and make the most of this last chance.
